A transcription is a detailed, written version of audio or video content, while subtitles need to be shorter and more concise to be readable. Transcripts are often used as the foundation for many fields of work and serve as documentation, analysis support, or a precursor to further editing. If desired, they also include acoustic elements that provide a more accurate description of the presentation.
- Verbatim transcription (including all filler words, pauses, and phonetic details)
- Clean transcription (linguistically edited and easy to read, without changing the meaning)
- Enhanced transcription (with timecodes, speaker identification, or translation)
PRICING
Just like subtitles, transcriptions are usually billed per audio minute (AM). However, the price also depends on how text-heavy the source material is.
